Table of Content7 Sections
To keep a result, use its Download button and save the file to a known folder. Your browser’s download list can reveal that location. An open preview or temporary result link is not a saved copy. The sections below cover computer and mobile locations, expired links and incomplete downloads.
How Do You Save a Result from This Toolkit?
- Finish processing and wait for Your Result is Ready. Check the displayed output filename and format. Some operations produce a ZIP, text document or spreadsheet instead of a PDF.
- Choose the result’s Download button. If the browser asks for a location, select a folder you can find again.
- Wait until the download finishes. Open the file from the browser’s downloads list or your device’s file manager, then inspect the result.
- Rename the saved copy if needed, keeping its correct extension. A useful name might be Application-Combined-2026-10-08.pdf.
Where Can You Find It on a Computer?
Open Chrome’s Downloads list and find the entry by its filename and time. Use Show in Folder to reveal the saved location. If the PDF opens in a viewer tab first, use the viewer’s download control. Saving the surrounding webpage can create an HTML file instead of the document.
For an ordinary direct PDF link, Chrome also offers Save Link As in the right-click menu. For a freshly generated toolkit result, use its own Download button while the workspace remains open. Your default Downloads folder may have been changed in browser settings, so follow the download entry rather than assuming a location.
Where Can You Find It on Android, iPhone or iPad?
| Device | Where to Look | If the PDF Only Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Android with Chrome | Chrome’s More → Downloads, or the device’s Files app. | Use the PDF viewer’s download/save control, then check Files. |
| iPhone or iPad | Files → Browse → iCloud Drive → Downloads, or the folder chosen when saving. | Use Share → Save to Files if offered, select the destination and save. |
The file can be under On My iPhone or On My iPad if that was the selected location. Saving in a cloud-backed folder can also involve synchronization; confirm the document is available locally before relying on it without an internet connection. A browser’s recent-download entry and the actual saved file are different things.
Why Does a Result Link Stop Working?
Browser-generated results belong to the active workspace. Clearing it, replacing the result or leaving the page can discard the temporary download object. Optional server results expire five minutes after the upload reaches the server, including processing time. Download promptly. If a result expires or the workspace is cleared, process the source again to create a new result. Share the saved file rather than its temporary link.
How Do You Check That the Download is Complete?
Worked example: after merging three application PDFs containing two, one and four pages, open the saved result and verify seven pages in the intended order. Check the final page as well as the first. A successfully downloaded file can still contain the wrong selection or an older version.
- The file will not open: check whether the transfer is still in progress. A partial-download extension or a zero-byte file is not a completed PDF. Retry from a fresh result.
- A login or error page appears: the response was not the intended document. Return to the source and download again; changing an .html extension to .pdf will not repair it.
- A ZIP was downloaded: split-page and image exports may package several files in an archive. Extract it before opening the individual results.
- The browser blocked the download: inspect the specific browser message. Retry the intended single result download rather than disabling protection globally.
- A PDF opens but looks incomplete: compare page count, selected ranges and a few key details with the source. If the transfer completed correctly, revisit the processing settings instead of repeatedly downloading the same output.
Which Final Check Matches Your Task?
| Operation | Verify in the Saved File |
|---|---|
| Merge or delete pages | Order, retained page count and the last page. |
| Compression | Small text, diagrams and any form fields still needed. |
| Password protection | A fresh reader session requests the intended password. |
| Text or spreadsheet export | Names, amounts, row order and the selected delimiter. |
Use PDF Reader for a visual check, or Merge PDF when the saved documents need combining. Repair PDF may help a damaged document that was fully downloaded, but it cannot recover content that never arrived. Keep the source until the finished copy has been accepted.
